The electrical power keeps going off on my shower

There are a number of reasons your showers electricity by be 'tripping'

1: The shower should be connected via isolated fused spurs. If you are using the 3 pin plug supplied you may find that the power drain on the 'Ring' you are connected to is unable to cope and therefore trips.

2: Check that there are no electrical 'shorts' on any of the cables as these can cause electrical faults.

3: If you have an RCD (Circuit breaker) fitted onto your consumer unit (Mains Board) then remove the one/s fitted to the shower. Having two RCD devices on the same supply can mean that they false trip each other.

i seem to have two cables coming from the steam generator box, labelleled connection cable a and connection cable b . they look or they are male and female nine pin arrangements but thjere seems to be nowhere that they connect to. there seems to be no way of connecting power to the main control board. that does have two wires coming out of it one for the telephone and one for labelled 5 core signal? any ideas.
