My Steam Generator is not working

If you are just installing your steam shower and there is no steam being produced:

(If you have a Deluxe model your display may indicate an Error message)

ERROR CODES:
E1: Malfunction of temperature sensor
E2: Malfunction of water level checking
E3: Malfunction of overtime water level checking
E5: Dry heating
E6: Water Starvation

1: Check that there is COLD water going to the shower. Do this by disconnecting the COLD water feed where it connects to the back of the shower and ensuring water is coming out.

2: The COLD water should be connected to the shower on the RIGHT HAND SIDE as you face the back of the shower. It connects to the 'T' piece. Remove the hoses and ensure there are no restrictions (slipped washers/debris etc)

3: If you are using a PUMP to supply pressurised water to the shower, we recommend a separate main fed supply to the Steam Generator.

4: Disconnect the WATER OUT from the steam generator. Did any water come out? Reconnect and try again. If the steam now works, then there may be a blockage in the waste of the tub where the WATER OUT (steam generator waste) joins. Disconnect the hose from the steam generator out at the waste and ensure there is a hole that would allow water to enter the waste trap. If there is little or no hole in the waste, you will need to drill one. This is a rare fault, caused by a moulding fault.

5: Sometimes the sensor inside the steam generator box can get stuck. We have found that sometimes a 'slap' from the palm of the hand on the side of the generator box is enough to release and start the steamer. You should not have to do this every time!

6: Is the display working? Does it indicate the steam generator is working (at least until it Errors?) If Yes, then the fault is NOT the control pad.

7: Does water come from all other shower functions as both Hot and Cold? If yes, then ensure the Steam Generator is getting water also. If No, the check the supply hoses to the shower for blockages.

Due to the in factory testing, water is often present in the steam generator when you purchase it or have a replacement sent - this is normal.
