To replace the shower valve: 1: First turn off the water and electricity to your shower. 2: Remove the hot and cold water supply hoses to the lower part of the valve assembly (accessed from the rear of the shower).  NOTE: Image above shows three water inlet valve model. Some models have two inlets (hot and cold) and a 'T' piece fitted to the Cold to supply the Steam Generator. In this case, disconnect the cold supply at the 'T' piece.
3: Disconnect the grey hoses where they connect to the upper part of the valve assembly. NOTE: some models have 5 outlet hoses. (model shown has four) 
4: From the inside of the shower cabin, unscrew the chrome lug and remove. Do this on each of the three dials. 
5: Insert an Alen key into the dial and locate into the grub screw. Loosen a few turns until the dial can be removed. (Do not remove grub screw completely) 

6: At the rear of the shower loosen the three large nuts shown in the image below. These do not have to be fully removed, just loosened a few turns. 
7: You should now be able to remove the dial plates on the inside of the cabin. These should unscrew by hand. 
8: With the dial plates removed, the valve will remove from the rear of the shower. 9: Fitting your new valve is the reversal of the ablve process. |
