Fixing glass on Crystal, Sanford, Pinebrook, Ruisdael, Portland, Sarasota

To fix the glass panels that are positioned either side of the door in place you need to use the 'S' plate, which is a piece of metal with a hole in one end (see image below) Or alternatively, some showers have a plastic retaining piece, that does the same thing.

1: Place the clear seal over the end of the glass and push into the frame fully.

2: With the glass in place, position one 'S' plate (or plastic retaining piece), so that it hold the glass in place against the inside of the metal curved frame section.

3: using the drill bit supplied, drill a small hole through the first layer of the frame. DO NOT DRILL THROUGH THE OUTER SKIN OF THE FRAME.

4: Using one of the smallest screws supplied, fix the plate to the inside of the frame.

5: repeat this for the lower and upper frame on both glass panels.
