Bathtek specialise in selling the leading UK brand - AquaLusso steam shower cabins and Shower cubicles. These great showers look similar to others that you may see on Ebay and other websites, but it’s the subtle, yet important differences that count.

Most suppliers in the UK sell steam showers, shower cubicles and whirlpool baths that feature cheaper mixer valves. AquaLusso Platinum range showers all have thermostatic shower valves - this part costs a little more, but enables to your carefully and accurately control the water temperature and importantly protect you and your family against scolding.

Over our years selling steam showers, shower cubicles and whirlpool baths, the standard colour for internal shower lighting has been blue, along with blue tinted glass. This colour option is great if you plan on having a blue bathroom, but not so if you choose a non complementary colour. If you look at most other shower cubicles, and bathroom items, white lighting and clear glass are use as the standard - and for good reason, it will match most if not all colour schemes. AquaLusso have changed all glass to clear glass, that is still testes safety glass to make their showers suit your bathroom. The lighting is also white and with an extra feature - the ceiling or roof lighting of AquaLusso shower cubicles is an LED Halo, ring light. Most, if not all other suppliers in the UK use the cheaper fluorescent shower tube light, these are duller than LED, use more power and do not last as long. The other problems with Fluorescent tubes is that they tend to flicker and irritate the eyes and are very susceptible to moist conditions. Since Bathtek sell steam shower spares and parts for showers, we have also noticed that aside from ensuring the ring tube is working, the ballast (tube starter) often fails, making replacement often more costly. Most other UK suppliers of similar steam showers use the cheapest control pads. The control pad is used to control the lights, radio, steam production and other features. Cheap units often have a very height failure rate - we know this because often they contact us asking if we can source replacements. Aside from the possibility of them failing due to poor manufacturing, they often leak. Water seeping into the electronics stops them from working.
